Shift your mind, change your life
Sometimes, being the parent of a teenager can feel far from what you expected. You were prepared for this new chapter, remembering your own teenage years, but now your teenager seems to disappear into their room again, often angry, sad, or defensive. They may lose self-confidence, lose interest in school, or get stuck in routines and bad habits. No matter how hard you try to reassure and encourage them, it can feel like they are drifting further and further away.

The good news is that the teenage brain is still growing. It continues to evolve in response to experiences, and a "mind shift" can have a powerful impact on their emotional, mental, and physical well-being. Teenagers, like adults, are capable of breaking unhealthy patterns, developing a stronger sense of self, healing emotional wounds, managing anxiety, building confidence, and making meaningful changes in their lives.
Teenager can tap into the power of their (subconscious) mind to make the positive changes they’re seeking, often in just one or a few enjoyable sessions. We don’t focus on analyzing the past; instead, we make an immediate shift from the current situation to the desired future behavior—with minimal "blablabla" and maximum results and this with a well-know science based method.

I had asked Marie-Laure to work with our teenage daughter on stress and the relationship with her father.
The difference in how she interacts with her father is remarkable. She is now open to communication with him, seeks closeness, engages in conversations with him, doesn’t shut him out, and chooses her words differently. She listens and shows respect. I was worried about the start of the new school year. A new school and a completely different direction are things that would have unsettled her for days in advance. But she was looking forward to the first day of school. She found it a bit exciting but was eager to start.
I wish we had done this sooner! Thank you so much! :-)

F. Mother of a 16 years old daughter - from Herent
Results after 1 hypnose session

I’m Marie-Laure Simonart, mother of two teenagers, a daughter of 12 years old and a son of 14 years old. Together we live in Keerbergen (Belgium).
Patience has never been my strongest trait—I certainly wasn’t first in line when it was handed out! Growing up in a traditional family, I broke free during my teenage years, living life to the fullest and embracing all kinds of experiences (the good and the bad ones). Since then, I’ve always thrown myself into one project after another, waking up early each day to make the most of my time.

My personal journey with hypnosis began when my son was diagnosed with cancer. For two years, he bravely fought the disease, but along the way, he became trapped in overwhelming fear, which seriously affected both his treatment and mental health. Traditional therapy certainly helped, but felt far too slow for the urgency of the treatment and my and his impatient nature. We needed an immediate solution. In that desperate moment, we were willing to try something completely new and even a little crazy for us, as we consider ourselfs as "rational people". Hypnosis completely surprised me—it was astounding to see the changes it made in just a single session.

It took me a couple of hypnose sessions and more than four years to understand the science behind it and come to terms with the idea that someone as scientifically-minded as I am could become a hypnotherapist. My teacher Shana, my family and friends played a huge role in encouraging and supporting me along the way. Now, I’m passionate about changing the perception of hypnosis—it’s not a magic trick, but a science-based, short-term safe therapy that can really make the difference for our teenagers and can complement both medical and psychological traditional care.

Having teenager kids, being passionated about change and the science of the mind, I’ve specialized in helping adolescents with issues such as sleep problems, learning difficulties, anxiety, phobias, low self-confidence, stress, eating disorders, and addictive behaviors. For our children I continious to specialize as Teenagers Brain Hacker and complete hypnosis with NLP and EFT (more about this soon).
As a certified hypnotherapist, member of the "Belgische Vereniging Hypnose", I am looking foward to make the difference for your teenager and your family... just as it did for my family.
